*Student registration is available for undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students only. Proof of student status may be randomly requested by the Organizing Secretariat, which may ask you to submit supporting documentation. Failure to provide such documentation upon request will result in a fee upgrade.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION AND REGISTRATION
Each abstract accepted for inclusion in the conference program requires at least one author to be registered to make the oral/poster presentation. Abstracts without a presenting author already registered with payment of the required fee received by 31 July, 2026 will NOT be included in the conference program.
Registered Authors can submit a second abstract with an additional cost.
Authors who wish to submit a full paper for the conference will have the opportunity to be considered for publication in COMPEL. The full paper must then be submitted by the day of the conference.
POST-CONFERENCE JOURNAL PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY
Authors who wish to have their work considered for possible post-conference publication in a scientific journal are kindly asked to select the dedicated checkbox during registration.
This will help the Organizing Committee estimate the number of contributions interested in journal publication. The Editorial Committee will select the most relevant submissions and invite the corresponding authors to prepare a full paper, to be submitted before the start of the conference.
Authors wishing to submit a full paper for journal consideration must complete their registration by 1 July, corresponding to the early registration deadline.
Contributions by authors who register after this date will be included in the conference program, provided that registration is completed by 31 July.
Selected papers will be considered for publication in COMPEL, with which an agreement has already been signed. All selected papers will be subject to the standard peer-review process of the respective journals.
The abstracts accepted for presentation will be published on the conference website, provided that registration is completed by 31 July.

Select your Registration Category.

Once you have completed your registration, you will receive an automatic registration confirmation with a summary of the options you have selected.

If you do not receive this e-mail, either your e-mail address has been entered incorrectly, or the registration process has not been completed.
Please note that “Registration Info” and “Other Services” options may be edited or purchased by re-entering your account until 15 August, 2026. Simply log into your account to do so.
The automatic system will send you an email only if you purchased additional items.
PAYMENTS
Fees must be paid in euros (€) and can be settled via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or bank transfer to Sistema Congressi.
Our online payment system, Xpay, provided by Nexi, ensures the security of your transactions.
If you choose bank transfer, please complete the registration form first. Bank transfer details and instructions will be provided in the registration confirmation email.
Please note that admission to HES 2026 cannot be guaranteed until full payment has been received.
Registrations with outstanding or delayed payments will be automatically cancelled without prior notice.
On-site registration fees can only be settled by credit card.
INVOICE
The invoice will be issued and emailed in PDF format after receiving the payment.
Should the invoice be needed in advance for the payment to be issued, please contact the agency to request it: registration@sistemacongressi.com
Ensure that all invoice information is correct and complete. The attendee's name will always be included in the invoice description.
Consistency in billing data is mandatory!

If you select “billing to ME as a private person" it means that YOU'll pay, and the invoice will be in YOUR name. Please fill out all the mandatory fields with YOUR personal details.

If you select “billing to a COMPANY/UNIVERSITY/INSTITUTION” it means that THEY will pay. Please fill out all the mandatory fields with the billing details of your Company/University/Institution, including invoice recipient.
If you have a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN, VAT, Fiscal Code, etc.), you must provide it. Please double-check the number you enter. If you don't have one, simply write 'NONE'.
Failing to provide for the right billing invoice details will result in wrong invoices. A handling fee of 25% of the invoice total amount will be withheld by the agency in case a new invoice with amended data is requested.

Nella sezione dedicata ai dati di fatturazione, selezionare “PUBBLICA AMMINISTRAZIONE ITALIANA” dal menu che appare cliccando sul campo “INTESTAZIONE FATTURA” e inserire il Codice Univoco Ufficio.
Il Codice Univoco Ufficio (UO) può essere ricercato sul portale AGID. -
INVIARE a registration@sistemacongressi.com un Buono d’Ordine oppure un’email contenente tutte le informazioni richieste dalla propria Pubblica Amministrazione per l’emissione della fattura elettronica in regime di split payment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation must always be confirmed in writing by emailing registration@sistemacongressi.com.
Refunds are normally processed via reversal on the credit card used for payment; in this case, no additional information is required.
In the event that a bank transfer is required for the refund, participants will be contacted directly by the Secretariat in order to protect them from potential fraud.
Refunds of fees, minus a Euro 50,00 administrative fee, will be issued for cancellations received before 15 August, 2026 (23:59 CEST).
After this date, no refunds will be possible. Refunds will be processed after the Conference.
No refunds will be granted in the case of a no-show.
In the event of the conference being cancelled at any time due to force majeure or other reasons beyond the control of the Organizing Committee, registration fees will not be refunded. Neither the Organizing Committee nor the Organizing Secretariat will be liable for any other costs or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, etc. Participants are highly encouraged to obtain their own insurance policy covering such events.
USAGE OF MEDIA MATERIAL TAKEN AT THE CONFERENCE
By attending HES 2026, you acknowledge and agree as follows:
